 Todd Polk - Vice President I am the vice president of Southern Data Automation, Inc. in Gadsden, Alabama. I began my IT career with PCLAND in 1995 as a PC tech level 1. I progressed forward with my knowledge and went to work for Surplus Supply in 1997 as the lead PC tech. In October of 1998 I joined SDA as the vice president and have been in the role since. My extensive understanding of business operations, IT infrastructure, IT systems security, application deployments, CCTV surveillance systems, and applications deployments as well as my knowledge of products, software, and services help me to advance SDA's business through the use of technology. My focus is on helping customers improve the security of their IT systems by simplifying control and management of IT resources meeting regulatory and compliance requirements, gaining visibility and control of the activity of client networks reducing costs and increasing the business value of information systems. I work to inform customers on their existing systems. To inform customers of needed upgrades, possible problems, data backup and restore procedures, end user accecptable use policies, and systems security. |
